About Brooke ...
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps adults navigate depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, grief, men's issues, and sleep or insomnia concerns. My goal is to provide a calm, grounding space where you can explore what is happening beneath the surface and begin to reconnect with yourself in new ways.
With over a decade of experience, I bring extensive training in mindfulness-based therapy, grief and loss counseling, sleep and insomnia support, and Transpersonal Psychology integrating body, mind, and spirit into the healing process. I often incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and somatic approaches, helping clients develop awareness of both mind and body while learning practical l skills to move through distress into ease and compassion toward self.
As a white, cisgender woman, I am committed to creating an inclusive and affirming environment for people of all genders, identities, and backgrounds. My approach is collaborative and respectful of your unique story, values, and pace.
Before entering private practice, I worked as a hospice social worker and had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through profound loss, transition and meaning-making. That experience deeply shaped how I view resilience, grief, and the many ways people find hope for the future while living with deep loss. I also bring lived experience with chronic illness (Epilepsy), which informs my understanding of how physical and emotional wellbeing intertwine.
Whether you're managing a medical condition, adjusting to a life transition, or simply trying feel more at peace in your daily life, therapy can be a place to find steadiness, clarity, and compassion for self.
